Chile – where the crust trembles daily and even a traditional cocktail is nicknamed the “Earthquake” – will become the epicenter of an unprecedented scientific gathering in South America.
From 1 to 5 June 2026, the IGS Workshop 2026 will bring the GNSS and geodesy community to Santiago’s Hotel Intercontinental.
Organized by the University of Santiago de Chile (USACH) with the Military Geographic Institute (IGM), the workshop will showcase the latest breakthroughs of the International GNSS Service (IGS).
Stay tuned for updates and secure your seat at IGS Workshop 2026: Chile, epicenter of GNSS orbits – driving global geodesy!
Workshop updates (abstract submission and registration opening, deadlines, etc.) will be broadcast through the usual geodesy mailing lists. To have them sent directly to you, please fill out this interest form: https://forms.gle/GTVaesFRgmiA3qbW8.
